Vacation...

El Totumo Mud Volcano.

Is a mud volcano located in northern Colombia in the municipality of Santa Catalina. A local tourist destination, popular for its alleged healing mud-bath, it receives most of its visitors from nearby Cartagena. The mound itself raises at about 15 m (49 ft) and it is serviced by an accessible staircase that leads to the crater, which can accommodate about 10 to 15 people at a time; there, tourists bathe in the dense warm mud and have the option of receiving personal massages from the attendants. The experience is then followed by a bath to remove the mud in a nearby lagoon.

I remember the time you get to the Caribbean coast with my parents and we appointed a very tourist site near Barranquilla, his name was the volcano's totumo immediately thought about visiting simply
because his name caught my attention.
After a long work can convince my parents that we were so they decided to leave after

lunch. We indication routes and went straight to the volcano, which was not even in the plans of our walk, on arrival we were terrified of how big it was, we climbed the steps that were very long indeed, and we arrived at the Crater find the big surprise of it was mud and people were stuck just like a swimming pool, was the most incredible people know that floated without any problem and despite the depth so great, not ran any risk getting to bathe in it. At first I was scared because it looked like we were going to undir so that will not happen, after a while we decided to relax and enjoy the volcano, but the best was the cleaning that we were doing the Indians out of the volcano as it was on a highly crystalline lake with one of the best freshwater Colombia.
