koko



koko is a very special animal, we could say that like no other which has developed a unique language reaching accurate and effectively communicate
So much so that it is considered one of the 11 animals that have exceeded the limits of the speaking and listening.

This shows that animals can have a very good relationship with humans and exceptional communication only requires the willingness and love for animals.

Koko was born in San Francisco, California on July 4, 1971, trained by Dr. Francine Patterson and other scientists from Stanford University. The purpose of the training was to communicate with her through more than 1,000 signs based on American Sign Language. It comprises about 2,000 words of English.
Koko has lived most of her life in Woodside, California, but moved to Maui, Hawaii.
It has been the inspiration for the character of Amy talking ape Congo's novel by Michael Crichton.
It is concerning the day of his birth, the Independence Day of the United States.
Most surprising is how Koko has cared for several cats over the years.
